Our approach isn’t complicated. We want to make a difference and we want to do it with integrity.
When we established Fathom in 2012, we had two primary goals:
- Creating better tools for people working in capital markets
- Offering an alternative to traditional consultancies for financial institutions
With extensive experience in the financial industry, we understood what was required to evolve outdated legacy systems. And with our expertise in user experience, we knew exactly how to help transform clunky workflows and ugly, frustrating interfaces.
We’d also had a first hand view of how agencies and consultancies treated financial services — and we knew we could do better.
We don’t bloat our timelines or our project teams. We build lasting relationships with our clients and often become friends. We’re not here just to make money. We want to make a difference.
And we have. We’ve transformed software tools for companies like Tradeweb, Commerzbank, and KPMG. We’ve even worked with the Bank of England. We’ve crafted solutions that are elegant, effective and intuitive.
And we’d very much like to do the same for you.

Grant Venter
Co-Founder
With technical, design and user experience expertise gained over an extensive career working with major brands, Grant has become a pioneer of digital experience in financial services. From key UX roles with Morgan Stanley and HSBC to running Fathom he is a renowned problem solver and team leader.
When he’s not leading things at Fathom, you’ll find him leading the London CC cycle club in Fathom-designed lycra.
Stu Jackson
Co-Founder
Stu has been crafting pioneering digital experiences since the Internet’s wild frontier days, cutting his teeth on early web and interactive TV offerings. He took his architectural precision and love of artful disruption into the financial markets in the late noughties, helping to transform Barclays’ digital retail offering, then leading the charge on the UX of HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets application suite.
Since co-founding Fathom, Stu has led the creation of transformational bond and FX trading applications, VAMs, future technology visions and ground-breaking mortgage servicing offerings. All of this has not altered his dedication to Ultimate Frisbee and his sidearm with a 175g Ultimate UltraStar is a thing of beauty.
Mike DiTore
Managing Director
With close to 15 years of trading experience at Lehman Brothers, Citibank and Nomura, Mike brings a wealth of first-hand experience.
Mike sensed Wall Street’s digital pivot and joined the market leader in fixed income electronic trading, Tradeweb Markets. Blown away by their relentless innovation and strong client focus, he eventually joined Stu and Grant in 2018 to help solidify and expand Fathom’s presence in the U.S.
